EDITORIAL STANDARDS
Web Dev Awards operates under a strict code of editorial practice to guarantee objective evaluation, truthful credit attribution, and archival integrity across our digital publication.
Editorial Independence & Commercial Firewall
We maintain an absolute firewall between commercial entry processing and editorial judging decisions. Payment of an evaluation fee covers administrative processing; it never influences judging scores, award tiering, or selection outcomes. Judges operate independently.
Rigor Across Five Technical Signals
Every entry is systematically evaluated across five core signals: Visual Design, User Experience & Usability, Technical Development, Creative Innovation, and Content Structure. Evaluation considers responsive performance, accessibility standards, and engineering quality.
Conflict of Interest Disclosures
Judges must recuse themselves from evaluating any website, studio, or project where a direct financial, personal, or professional relationship exists. Panel reviews are distributed to eliminate single-judge bias.
Attribution & Record Integrity
We are committed to maintaining accurate attribution for digital creators, developers, designers, and studios. Inaccurate credits or studio name changes will be investigated and corrected in accordance with our Corrections Policy.
